Hotel Mitlechnerhof

We are a family of four (two kids, 3 and 6 years old); we are from Italy, but we prefer writing in English hoping to share our wonderful experience with as many people as possible. We just spent a few days at Hotel Wickertsheim in Verdins, Schenna, and we enjoyed the stay very much. We all had a terrific time, including the kids of course. The hotel is quite, relaxing, clean and in a beautiful location. The service is absolutely excellent and the staff very kind. The meals are exquisite, especially dinner (salad bar, three courses meal + dessert ... make sure you don't eat too much during the day....talking about dessert, the night of my arrival I got warm raspberry with vanilla ice-cream, my favorite!!!). They also have an inside swimming-pool: perfect for kids during rainy days or for some exercise before dinner. If you like trekking, this place is exactly what you are looking for. The mountains paths are very easily accessible, even without a car. There is a cable-way at only 5 minutes walking distance, which takes you up to 1400 mt or even 1800 mt! Absolutely stunning places; our kids loved it! We really hope to go back very soon! PS: The Hotel Director and his lovely girlfriend are two amazing, dedicated and very friendly person! You will love them just as we do!
