Located in a small mountain village amongst rolling green hills and overlooking the sparkling blue lake, this place offered the perfect getaway. The house was charming in its rustic beauty and attention to detail, showing off the craftsmanship of the area with woodwork and lots of extra touches. Lovingly furnished, the room was very cosy with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. I appreciated the sentiment of not having a TV (note that we were told that it could be installed if we wished) but having games and a small library available. Our host Antonella was so friendly and welcoming that we felt right at home, and her breakfast was the best on our entire trip, containing many homemade foods. I think the peach and basil jam is the best I have ever eaten! Well worth a visit as the village offers something unique not found in any other places and is a great hiking area.
