Amazing and peacful experience. Really beautiful place to stay if you want to get away and be secluded in a nice place with great views.
Owner was really nice too he went out of his way to make our stay nice 😊 
I recommend if you want some calmness away from everything 
Main restaurants arent too far either just 15 minute drive which is fine 
Super recommend this place to just switch off !

Peacful and perfect!

Villa Nicoletta was superb!!! We loved pur stay there. The room was very romantic, clean, well designed and furnished, had its own little terrace. It is like staying on an italian vineyard with the amenity of having a  wonderful salt water  pool and breakfast service :-). Theresa was a wonderful host taking great care of her guests. She recommended an exeptional restaurant, Saltara. We went there twice during our stay. Perfect place to discover Sardegna‘s northern parts….

Exeptional place, hidden gem!

We initially booked our holiday for July 2020 but due to covid travel restrictions we were unable to travel until September 2021, throughout covid Giovanni and Teresa were so flexible as we had to change our dates 3 times, we were so grateful for their patience. Finally we arrived on Sunday 12 September and we were not disappointed. Villa Nicoletta is a special, welcome, relaxing, quiet and exquisite place in Sardinia. Teresa and Giovanni helped us to arrange a restaurant in Porto Pozzo and a kayaking trip - their welcoming, friendly and helpful attitude gave us have a super holiday. Our room (22) was faultlessly clean, modern and comfortable and it makes an English lady super pleased to see Twinings Tea alongside a kettle! Breakfast is delicious and the pool area is private, calm and relaxing. Villa Nicoletta is a perfect base to explore the Gallura and Costa Esmeralda areas of Sardinia which are absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend Villa Nicoletta - thank you Teresa and Giovanni. We hope to return sometime in the near future.

Exquisite

My friend and I were so looking forward to staying at Villa Nicoletta, but due to circumstances beyond our control we had to cancel our trip.  Giovanni was incredibly understanding to our situation, and that just made us want to stay there even more next time!  We did, however, get a chance to stop by his Patisserie and taste the gelato and pastries - absolutely delectable!  Don't miss!

Wonderful host, incredibly understanding

So much is over hyped these days, but from our experience exceptional is the only way to describe our stay at Villa Nicoletta.

We stayed in the junior suite with distant glorious views to the fjoyd  that meanders into the small town of Porto Pozzo. To see a sunrise from the terrace forming part of the suite is almost beyond compare anywhere. The room is large and airy and well appointed in Sardinian style and represented in our view good value. The bed was also very comfortable.

To us our stay at Villa Nicoletta represented more of a life experience than just a holiday. From the moment we arrived we experienced warmth and kindness from Giovanni, Elisa, Chiara and all of the team. Giovanni is surrounded by many family members who live in and around Villa Nicoletta. On our first evening we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Giovanni's father he stopped us as we were walking towards the town, before we left him we had been presented with some grapes and figs that he had just picked. That's what makes a visit to Villa Nicoletta so different from the usual overseas holiday.

Breakfast is taken in a lovely outbuilding next to the swimming pool. The views from here make for a wonderful backdrop. Breakfast comprises a huge selection of pastries from Giovanni's  patisserie as well as fruit, cereals, yoghurts, bread rolls, fruit juice and coffee amongst many other things. Eggs and bacon is also available on request. 

The swimming pool is a good size and  the peaceful setting means you can really relax.

Many have already said this in reviews previously posted, but Giovanni is without doubt the very best host. Kind generous and ready to assist in anyway he can so that you get the very best experience out of your stay. Whatever you do try the ice cream from his patisserie - especially good is the fig ice cream made from their own crop of figs!

Giovanni and his team are very aware of the impact Covid 19 has had on us all and they have measures in place to do all they can to try to combat. At the time of our visit (August 2020) many of the local restaurants remained closed so if your intention is to eat locally make sure you book - Giovanni will help!.

We didn't hire a car which meant walking everywhere and it took about 20 minutes to get into the small town of Porto Pozzo. The return walk in the dark after an evening out was something else, great views of the stars, but if you decide to do the same pack a torch!  If you are less adventurous definitely hire a car.

Villa Nicoletta is a short drive from Santa Teresa Gallura and is about an hour a way from Oblia airport.

We will definitely be going back.

Exceptional

One of our best accommodations so far (worldwide). Villa Nicoletta has seven rooms (Superior, Deluxe, Suite) with nice and stylish interior - all rooms are renovated. The accommodation is located on a silent hill without any neighbours - beautiful place for a time out.

The Owner Giovanni was the best host we ever had. The breakfast was very tasty and he gave us many recommendations for trips or dinner-locations. The best recommendation was to rent a boat at Steffano and explore the national park Maddalena.

He is very carefully with his guest and the hygiene standards are very high! You don’t must have any worries due to Corona.

Very beautiful place for some time out

Villa Nicoletta is just a perfect place to stay. Our suite with stunning views from the terrace over Porto Pozzo was generous in size, extremely quiet and nicely furnished, including a very comfortable bed. The saltwater pool was very clean and large enough to swim laps if you have the energy to get out of the nice sun loungers positioned both in the sun and shade. Breakfast is served from a very friendly staff with a huge selection of Italian pastries and a high quality selection of other breakfast items you would expect. Fresh eggs are made upon request and the espresso is excellent. The absolute best part of Villa Nicoletta, though, is the host, Giovanni. He is a very genuine and easygoing host who just has a great talent in making guests feel welcome and relaxed. He had great recommendations for dinner and for excursions including a deep sea fishing experience we will not forget for a long time! Nothing was too much trouble for him to organize. My only wish is that we are able to come back again in the future as there are not many places in the world that have exceeded all of our expectations! 

Unbeatable

Lovely and tastefully furnished room was new spacious and clean. Modern room facilities with a sense of traditional Sardinian style, we love it soo much :)
Owner Giovanni was friendly willing and helpful in every way you can imagine. Towels and toiletries were provided as well as everyday cleaning. 
Breakfast contained bottled water, juices, fruits, sweet home made pastry, croasants, jogurts, butter, honey, marmelades, nutella, coffea and great cappucino and beyond promised Giovanni has offered to us also (cotto) ham, cheese, prosciuto crudo and tomatos, everything fresh, homemade and prepared with love.
Villa is a bit out of the way, so there is very romatnic peacefull and discrete atmosphere but be aware - you will need a car definitely. 
There are beautifull land and sea views especially from the breakfast terrace. 
We have enjoyed our stay really much and we will be back definitely!!!

Cozy Romantic Getaway

Giovanni & Dona could not do enough for us they made us so welcome and were very accommodating with our arrival and departure times. Amazing breakfast direct from their own patisserie and we bought ice cream which was the best ever from the same place. Very clean and comfortable accommodation nice bed linen powerful shower you could not want for anything within this price range.
