La Marinella

Loved our duplex apartment - split over 2 floors (we were on first/second floor). Building has lift. In apartment there’s one super king en-suite bedroom as you enter. You then go up a very narrow spiral wooden staircase to the twin room above, so both bedrooms are in one room if you like. Not much privacy but fine for a family. Walk through kitchen, up stairs to other super king en-suite room. Beds very comfy. Kitchen has multi-cooker and a hob. There’s no outside space with this apartment but you can use the building’s garden. There’s a bus around the corner by the Mediterranean hotel which goes into Sorrento. There are several restaurants nearby. It’s about a 25 min walk to sorrento, and about 15 to the train station (for circumvesuviana) and Sant Agnello town/supermarket. We found the apartment spotlessly clean, the owner super helpful and friendly. It is a quiet location and in this apartment there’s little road noise and you can’t hear the church bells so no disturbance there. About 150 yards from sea and you can use the public beach or marinella’s own beach club (for a fee). Out of town so away from busy streets. You can catch the coach from sorrento train station to Naples airport which is very efficient and cost effective. Owner offered to keep luggage on last day and we caught the coach to the airport so was super easy. We had a great time there and would highly recommend.
