Mami Camilla is my second home. I stayed at the hotel with the family during five vacations. My first stay was for the cooking course. My first meeting with the real South-Italian life: Eat, drink and having fun together. It was the reason for coming back several times. The family Longo gives me the feeling being part of them. 
Besides of that Sorrento is the best place to visit all the tourist attractions in the neighboorhood, like Amalfi Coast, Capri, Paestum, Naples and Pompeï.

This place is amazing.  It's not a luxury hotel by any means, but is so much more.  There is the opportunity to feel like you are part of the family.  An Italian Family.  Mami Camilla is a family run B&B- I had an amazing stay.  The morning expresso and breakfast I couldn't get enough of.  I highly recommend the cooking classes, I would take them all over again.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! My best friend and I backpacked Italy for 3 weeks, staying a night or two in hostels and passing through, but when we wound up here, we didn't go any further!!! In fact, we've gone back to Italy JUST TO STAY HERE!!!
Fabulous food (worth the price), great advice, gorgeous accommodating family, awesome trips to Capri. I haven't taken a cooking class (yet. Although I caught part of some gelato-making and tasting!!!) Close to Pompeii, Amalfi, Positano, Capri, and the BEST GELATO in Italy (ask them how to get to the shop in town). Love it. Felt like family. We talk about this place frequently.

Authentic Italian Experience

Paradise in Italy!!!

Personal was very very kind, decoration was cute and it was well located, near Marinella beach. I stayed in a dorm and honestly there were way too many people in the room and there weren't enough lockers to everyone, and, bathroom was never clean because there was always someone inside it. The price was fine but there was no breakfast included and if you wanted to have breakfast there (or any other meal) it was pretty expesive considering the other options. Still, I would consider the possibility of going back there.

We booked this 'bed & breakfast' as we had been there before (2006), and we just loved it. It was an old house (via Cocumella), surrounded by 'citrus' trees, we had supper there every night, the "cuisine' was excellent, best food ever. The folks that owned the place were welcoming, you felt like you were part of the family. So we decided to go back there, and I booked through their website which is very misleading, you can still see the pictures of where we stayed, and it looks like they opened a new location as well. So I clearly indicated on my reservation that I was booking at the old location (via Cocumella) and not the Soleluna hotel(via Madonna). At no time did they ever mention during the booking process that the old location was no longer there, and that they only had one location now, the one on Madonna. Although the food was good, the location not that great, we were in the middle of the city sitting on a 'patio' right on the corner of a street. Very dissapointed as we would not have booked this location. 
Note: Trip advisor information is not accurate as the CA site and the UK site show the old location (via Cocumella), this should be corrected.
