B&B Podere Cerreta

This was our first B&B stay in Italy. We were so well cared for and we enjoyed wonderful food for breakfast and the optional dinners. The hosts are wonderful cooks with a great variety of dishes and drinks. Breakfasts and dinners were in the kitchen, and it was like being home. Nearby there are other restaurants and cafes; very nice, but not as great as the home cooking at the B&B. The immediate area has trails and quiet roads to explore by car, on foot or on one of Alex's several high quality mountain bikes. If you're a fan of horses, goats, chickens, cats, and dogs, you've come to the right place. Our room was cool and spotless and great for sleeping and napping. My only complaint (which wasn't enough for me to mention to the hosts) is the occasional eruption of dogs barking when they heard something at night. We could have asked for a different room, but it didn't matter enough to us. My point, I think, is that our hosts would have instantly done something helpful if we'd felt the need. If we're ever lucky enough to visit Italy again, we'll visit Podere Carreta again.
