30 reviewsVenice is an expensive city, so this was a great stay for a lower price, so you need to be realistic with your expectations. You have a private room, it is close to other houses so slightly noisy, but this is the character of Venice. There is a shared bathroom, but it is very clean and shower is warm and powerful enough. It is decorated with character, traditional and charming, I really enjoyed staying here as I felt like I was staying in a Venice house, experiencing the local life. People will love this guest house feeling or they won't, it depends on your taste, so i would say know what you want, this suited me for its simplicity. The location was fantastic, with backstreet charm, near a picturesque canal so please get yourself lost exploring these beautiful backstreets. It is a good position for central Venice, near enough to San Marco but far enough away to avoid the tourist trap, maybe 10mins walk. It has great access to San Zaccaria waterbus station and food shops in the local area.
