112 reviewsMy husband and I booked a three night stay at L’Infinito in mid-August. Giuliana is a wonderful host - she speaks very good English and is knowledgeable about the history of the area. She answered our questions about sites to see, transportation, restaurants etc.. Our room was spotless and air conditioned. Breakfast is included in the price of the room. Every morning Giuliana makes coffee to order. Freshly squeezed orange juice is available as well as local pastries and fruit. There is toast, cereal, hams, and cheeses. Good way to start the day! L’Infinito is located on the Via Duomo with great restaurants and shops all around. Cobblestone roads add to the charm of the area. The Cathedral is right up the road and the Tyrrhenian is about a block away. Buses are nearby as are the ferries and train station. Salerno was a great base with which to see the Amalfi Coast. Ferries offer spectacular views of the coastal towns. In the evening, you can stroll the promenade or Lungomare Trieste, a pedestrian walkway along the sea. So many people are out and about enjoying the breathtaking views, walking, biking, or just relaxing on the benches. The location of L’Infinito couldn’t be better, and Giuliana made our stay a memorable one. We hope to return one day.
