B&B Zarahouse

The B&B was actually an apartment with I think two rooms with a common living room and kitchen (which unfortunately we didn't really get to use, as we were rather busy running around all the time...), so it was very homelike. It's on the fourth floor, with a nice view from the balcony. It was also very close to the train station and the ferries, so it was a perfect base for touring the Amalfi coast and Pompei. The owners were great - Ludovico (hope I spelled it right) gave us a great recommendation to a very fine restaurant (we went there twice) and also to places to see in Salerno itself - which is a very beautiful city. Breakfast was mainly coffee and pastries, which is quite nice, but there is also a very lovely market right below, so we got some really great vegetables and cheese and had a feast. I almost forgot to mention - the room was clean and full of light, the bed very comfortable, a lot of storage space (giant closet for a B&B) and the shower great.
