137 reviewsIt depends what you are looking for in a place. We wanted room for the family (two boys, 13 and 12) and 2 adults. The room was exactly as described. The breakfast was better than expected to be honest, juice, cheese, salami, bread, pastries, yoghurt, hot drinks (see pictures). There were some cereals but the boys never tried them. The room was cleaned daily with clean towels provided. We were able to leave our bags in the kitchen area on the morning of our departure. The place is pretty central, the Colloseum the furthest away and we took an Uber, but it would have been about a 45 minute walk. Vatican was 20 minutes and most of the other central sites were aboutt a 30 minutes walk, but walking is the BEST way to see Rome, you stumble into so much. The room is on the 6th floor and there is an old style 3 person elevator (see picture), if you dont like that and dont like steps you have been warned! On arrival you call them, we had to wait about 5 minutes in the street but we were earlier than we told them we were going to be. There are supermarkets, restaurants and gelato shops on the street and whilst it can at times be loud you are in a busy city centre, what are you expecting? At least you are high up and the sound is muffled! We really enjoyed it and got exactly what we wanted.
