The hotel is modern and very clean. Staff is friendly. Upon arrival, we had to pay €250 as a deposit (we stayed 5 nights). They will take off city tax and any drinks from the bar, meals at the restaurant etc at the end of your stay. The leftover amount of the €250 will get refunded. Drinks at the bar and meals in the restaurant are reasonably priced. Food in the restaurant is good! Our room (126) on the second floor was pretty and cleaned every day. We could hear our neighbours and/or people in the elevator, but it did not bother us. There is a pillar though in the room, next to the bed which is a bit annoying - but not much the hotel can do about that of course! The green flashing light of the smoke detector annoyed me a little at night, but safety is more important. Airconditioning worked perfectly and it was nice to cool down in the room after the heat outside! The location of the hotel is perfect. It's next door to the Vatican Museum. But even to the Colosseum is walkable (1 hour) and within 30 minutes you are at Piazza Navona. Near the hotel there is also a shopping area with lots of restaurants. We had an amazing time and definitely recommend this hotel. We hope to be back in the future!
