6 nights in July. We had a deluxe room for the extra space. Even so, the room wasn't that spacious but was adequate enough. The bed was huge and comfy. Certainly not as hard as most of the 4 star hotels we usually stay in. The shower was a powerful rainfall/hand-held. The air-con worked well. There were also some really good extra touches in the room: - A Dyson hair dryer, which my wife was really happy with. Even I know that most hotel hair dryers are dreadful. - A makeup/shaving mirror in the bathroom. - A bathrobe that was actually big enough to fit me! The rooftop restaurant and bar are really good, but most nights they had non-resident events going on, so the residents didn't really get to appreciate it fully. Breakfast on the rooftop was excellent with loads of choice, with the option to sit inside or out. The staff were all really friendly, welcoming and helpful. It's just 5 minutes or so from the Colosseum and Forum, which is great, but makes for a longer walk in the heat to the city centre. Just a couple of niggles. Our room wasn't serviced one day, and on another housekeeping turned the temperature up on the air-con (32°outside, so didn't appreciate that). We would definitely stay again.
