We had a lovely stay in the Principe apartment. We had good communication before and during our stay. Nadia was friendly and responsive. The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy with good AC, thank god. Rome in July is very hot. The kitchen equipment was pretty basic. A few blunt knives made cooking difficult. The grounds were beautiful, characterful and immaculate. Fit for a Duke. We were told the Duke still resides there occasionally. The pool was very clean and tidy. Its not fully fenced so younger children will need to be watched carefully. Plus one side has a 3ft drop. The pool is on a hill so offers good views including a very distant St Peters dome. The train is 500m away as are good road links to Rome. By car or train its about 40 mins. There's some ok restaurants in Settibagni but some lovely ones 10 minutes away in surrounding villages. For a visit to the chaos of Rome, this place offers some calm and space, so personally I would say this is a better option than the small apartments in Rome
