We were recommended to this family run BnB by someone we met at a wine tasting in Canelli. Gian Luca, his wife Alessandra and little Greta welcomed us into their family home for a couple of nights and their hospitality was exceptional. It is a working vineyard and they have recently opened their doors to travellers. The property has been renovated to a very high standard reflecting Alessandra's style and eye for detail. It is situated looking over the rolling vineyards and surrounding towns which you can see from the massive terrace attached to the living area. Local produce is provided for breakfast and it was outstanding. Gian Luca and Alessandra's passion for food is very evident and they promote great local, organic producers. Gian Luca's enthusiasm for his craft of winemaking is infectious and his award as 2014 Italian Young Winemaker of the Year was well deserved. His Pinot Noir is outstanding and we managed to bring some home to Australia! We will definitely return to experience it in warmer weather and enjoy some more of Gian Luca and Alessandra's hospitality and wine!
