Verdepiano Bed&Camping

I booked one apartment but we were asked to change to another because the windows of the first one were being changed. The apartment we got was big and nice, but I also would suggest to change the windows of this one too, we were not cold because the weather was still ok, so I do not know about energy retention in colder times, the thing was that when I opened the windows, I got inside a lot of strange beetles which I think live inside the frames, since the windows are very old. It was not a big deal anyway, but it would be something we would suggest to the owners to do. The kitchen was well equipped with fridge and dishwasher, smallware enough for 6 people, a very big and nice dining table and windows with a view to beautiful trees (the cupressus sempervirens). As an observation, I would suggest to try to clean the machines better after every stay. The coffee machine was not well cleaned and the water running looked brown for almost two entire cycles. The water kettle was calcified, although in fact I never needed it, I noticed it. Just in the kitchen I need to observe a bit lack of cleaning, but towels and bed linen were fine. The living room was kind of empty, just a sofa-bed and the tv set, the bedrooms were also big but missing some furniture, that in the end make no much difference as we did not spend but the evenings in the apartment. It was really good to have a sauna and whirpool, the pool was closed but since its water is cold, it was no problem. We were able to use the services up to 20h00 and towels were available. The location was for us perfect, in between Riva and Arco and very quiet and peaceful in the night. Maybe for other people willing to have more "life" around it is not good to be a bit away from the center of Riva, but for us was perfect. There is an Eurospar very near for the groceries shopping, the camping platz offers laundry machines and BBQ grills. There were also bikes for rent, but we did not need them. Silvia at the reception was very profesional, helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure. We spent a great time here, I would certainly come back and suggest my friends to stay here. It was a very good experience.
