35 reviewsMy wife and I are just back from an 11 night stay in this really nice "casa vacanze". We were made to feel very welcome by the family there and nothing was too much trouble for them day or night. We had one of the studios which came well equipped with gas stove, combi-microwave oven and fridge plus basic utensils and crockery. Fresh bread is on offer to be delivered to your room each morning which is a nice touch. Our studio was a very good size and comfortable, especially the bed (we like a good firm mattress) + extra pillows. There's a pretty garden area with a decent sized pool and enough sun beds for everyone and we had our first ever sighting of pomegranates (melo grano !) growing on the trees and a nice view of the mountains. The surrounding quiet suburb of Raffa and it's neighbour Manerba offer everything you could want amenities wise, and there's the very quaint "Romantic" beach only 10 minutes walk away with more restaurants and gelateries + boat hire (an hour or 2 on your own hired motor boat is highly recommended!). We had a car so we got to see a lot of the lake and it's communities. You've the bigger (but very pretty) towns of Salo and Desenzano approximately 10km either way. There is so much to see and do on Lake Garda we are already planning our next trip!
