Wow! I can't recommend Alessandro's Il Conte B & B highly enough. It's the perfect break from the hustle & bustle of the coastal beach towns but only a short drive from great restaurants and exquisite beaches. The guest suite is grand, comfortable and private. It includes a master bedroom, a gorgeous master bathroom and (if desired) a separate bedroom with 2 twin beds. The views from all the windows are spectacular and the fresh air makes for a wonderful night's sleep. Alessandro is a kind and thoughtful host. His English isn't great but it's enough to make it work for those who don't speak Italian (or Sardinian). His breakfast was amazing. and the kids loved the dogs. 2 nights was not really enough. Would go back in a heartbeat.
