Le Stipedisopra B&B

Silvia has created an enchanting spot in the hills above Pietrasanta. It's a short, windy drive up from the town - you arrive in another world. You are in the countryside - there are walking paths in all directions from the house that take you to visit the baby donkey and her parents in a nearby field, or a stroll through olive groves, which were being harvested during my visit. The house itself is very beautiful, very artistically done which you can see in the photos on Silvia's website. The bed was super comfortable, hot water plentiful. The breakfast is big, delicious, healthy all fresh food creatively done. I was also lucky enough to have a dinner cooked by Silvia, which she offers if arranged in advance. Delicious, in-season, local traditional food. There is a very good restaurant in the nearby village up the hill which is a 20 minute hike through the countryside away. I was not travelling with children, but another couple was there with their 11 year old son who seemed to be having a fantastic time. I am very grateful for the wonderful three days I spent at Le Stipe di Sopra and hope to go back.
