I've been in B&B Villa Flora in August during a car tour through Italy. If you are travelling by car and you are looking for a location very close to Perugia (5-10 minutes drive to the "Mini Metro" Station, where you can go easily go up to the historical centre), Assisi, Lake Trasimeno I sugget you this place. (if you have no car I definetly don't!) Basically the B&B is located in a Villa (you'll take some time to recognise it because it looks exactly like a private house), the owner lives there and has apartments for rent. She's very nice and we actually booked for 2 people and got a 80sq meter apartment for a very good price! You can use the garden as well. Everything was of course very clean. Lovely breakfast: prepared by the owner in her kitchen, felt like at home. If you are looking for a budget solution to visit Umbria by car then this is your place! I would not suggest it to people looking for accomodation in the centre of Perugia or looking for a romantic escape.
