74 reviewsWe visited Perugia for the Umbria Jazz festival which was great. The historical centre was a hive of activity and it turned out that our choice of accommodation was ideally positioned, a 2-minute drive to parking but far enough away from the crowds and the noise. The star of our week in Perugia though was our host, Marina who prepared delicious breakfasts each day and has an assortment of snacks available for when you're feeling peckish. Despite the language barrier, Marina who still speaks more English than we speak Italian really did well to field our questions. She is incredibly warm and hospitable, and it was a sad farewell when we left. The jazz festival meant late nights and late mornings, all of which were no problem. We were extremely comfortable and our room overlooked a lovely garden. A really nice stay!
