We booked up this place for our friends wedding and stayed for 4 days. We have to say, from the day we arrived to the day we left we felt welcomed and at home. Giovanni and his son Andrea were so accommodating and friendly. To the point that Andrea even drove us to Terontola Train Station on our departure which was a good 15 minutes away, rather than us paying for a taxi. The rooms were basic and a little dated, but very clean and the shower was nice and big. We even had a view of the castle from our window, which was a lovely surprise. Cost-wise, we found this to be a cheaper option than surrounding accommodation, and heard some negative reviews from our friends of these. Breakfast was even included, which helped our budgets. Passignano sul Trasimeno is such a beautiful place and this hotel is within a 10 minute walk to everything. There is a train track right next to the hotel, but the track isn’t frequently busy, and not too loud. To us, overall our stay felt so personal and a nice getaway from a modern hotel chain.
