It's a really cozy family-run facility, where cleanliness and warmth are at home. The location is strategic to visit the surroundings: the city of Merano, the many villages that meet, strolling in the nature thanks to the nearby Texell cableway and for beer lovers the Forst company. It's been 5 days really relaxing!!

A lovely place.

It's a small, simple boarding house, but the tiptop is clean. The owner is very diligent and super friendly. There's even freshly pressed orange juice, egg dishes for breakfast. We felt very comfortable. Ideal for a short stay but you can also stay longer.

Pension with heart

We've been in LAHN for over 35 years, and because of CORONA, we've been able to enjoy the house for the first time this year under the new management of the Torggler family. So we need to say thank you once again to Thomas and his team for the wonderful days we spent in LAHN. The reception was very friendly and we were also briefed by Thomas at the beginning about the new processes in the house. The rooms are functionally furnished, the bathrooms are all newly renovated. Cleanliness is very much written on it.

Hospitality in South Tyrol

The new management makes it... the new tenant Thomas is doing the job very well, is very accommodating and nice, the rooms are very clean, the breakfast is super delicious and the bar can stay well. The pension Lahn is ideally located for hikes and excursions in beautiful South Tyrol... we will definitely come back!!!

It's a relaxing day!!!

We spent a great weekend with a group of friends at the Lahn Pension. The rooms are extremely clean and each has a balcony with a beautiful view. The breakfast is highly recommended and above all the cozy bar has served us.

Comfortable boarding house in a nice environment

I highly recommend this 2* Pension for the hospitality, kindness and availability of Mr. Torggler and his staff, for the cleanliness. No problem with parking because private of the Pension and therefore free. Rooms with balcony equipped with table to eat out. Choose from 4 different breakfasts depending on your appetite and habit (not included in the room rate). Dogs are welcome.

Summer holidays 2020

We were here in May 2019 for coffee and dinner once.There was a cake and a steak. The cake we were served was 90% biscuit, the rest was a cream as a filling, which was completely dried at the edge, so it was no longer fresh and tasted good. On the dinner tour we were the only guests, we got an ordered barbecue with potatoes and a pork steak with splash. Then we understood why this could be served so quickly: barbecue was NOT grilled, it was like steamed, there was no soot water behind the plate of the food, soap steaks were not pressed and soap steaks were not pressed.

Food-related decline on vacation

We stayed five days with my family in this little boarding house, we were very good. Two bedrooms next door, well maintained, excellent cleanliness...with a spectacular visit!!!! We stayed overnight with breakfast, nothing to say, plenty of breakfast and good service.

I'm going on vacation.

I booked a week at the Lahn Pension by contacting the facility directly, fortunately I found availability even for the week of February. The two stars cheat! It was all perfect but at very affordable prices. The room, equipped with a balcony overlooking the mountains, is clean and spacious, the bathroom is new and very clean. The staff is extremely kind and efficient (every day the room was shone). The breakfast is excellent and abundant, suitable for all needs. The location, finally, is perfect: a few minutes' bus ride from Merano, in an extremely quiet area, two minutes from the cable car Texelbahn and the doors of the splendid Valosta Venosta.

Much more than a two-star.

We had spontaneously decided to go to South Tyrol for a week. We booked this boarding house because a is pet friendly and b is relatively affordable in the main season. The boarding house is rustic, but really very clean and well maintained. Our bathroom was quite new and top-of-the-line. Beautiful outdoor balcony with great mountain views. The breakfast buffet was average, but okay. The operators are very, very nice and hardworking. Overall, I can really recommend the boarding house if you don't need a snack and expect it.
