Some friends told us about this place. Being on holidays in the area, we took the chance to visit this place for dinner. After driving for a while diverting from the main road we got at Conca 'e Janas , I would say in the middle of nowhere, but it was worth while ! Beautiful location surrounded by nature and stillness. We arrived a little bit before the serving time ( 20.30 ) but we were welcomed with a glass of Vermentino and we spent some time looking at the taditional Sardinian objects displayed inside the restaurant. There's no menu to choose from but once the dishes started to come ... the party began ! So particular food representative of the best Sardinian traditional cusine. Everthing extremely tasty and genuine. After three hours we were still eating ... incredible ... from several starters to the terrific dessert : two versions of "seada" ( made of durum wheat semolina, cheese & honey ). House wine Cannonau, coffee and .... finally mirto ( myrtle ) ! A culinary experience you cannot miss !!! Very kind and friendly family staff ... and when we got the bill we could not believe ... simply great ! Well Conca 'e Janas : we'll be back definitey.

A place coming out from your dreams !

Rooms are clean and spacious, with new furnitures. Mattress are very confortable.
The management is young, pro-active and always ready to answer to any request.
Far away from the main road, in the middle of the countryside near Dorgali, You can easily reach in 15 min. the coast and the beaches of Cala Luna, Cala Gonone and Goritze.
Food is amazing. Tipical regional cuisine. Breakfast is abundant. 
Guided trekking tours to Tiscali nuragic village and Gorropu Canyon are also availble.

A true, enchanting corner of Sardinia

A nice farmhouse in the middle of nature, away from noisy city, surrounded by green with  beautiful panorama where it can be seen the surroundings with a splendid sunrise and sunset. This nice agritourism is a good choice for those that love the quietness of the mountains, simplicity and the beauty of farm life. What could be nicer than to wake up in the morning after a relaxing sleep, staying on the terrace looking to the beauty surrounding and taking your breakfast with fresh genuine products, most of them made here... More than... what you say to drink a cup of goat milk milked by yourself? :)) Here is the best place where you can understand what's mean a simply, tasty and clean life. We had here one of the best traditional dinner ever... plenty and very delicious dishes, especially the famous "porceddu" that is the icing on the cake in sardinian gastronomy. If you come here do not leave without tasting this divine dish accompanied by a good Cannonau wine. This charming place is managed by Salvatore and Mattia that gave their best to maintain this place clean and genuine. You'll be surprised by their gentleness, hospitality and disponibility... Thank you so much Salvatore and Mattia... we felt wonderful there.
This place is situated by 17 - 18 km from the beautiful Orosei Gulf (one of jewelry of Sardinia), the same distance more or less from the Gorropu Canyon one of the deepest canyons in Europe, and also you'll find  a lot of turistic attractions around.

Hospitality and tranquility...

We were on the way back from Arbatax to Arzachena when we needed a break and wanted to try out an agriturismo establishment. While looking for one in particular we saw a sign for Conca 'e Janas farm. So, not having any prior knowledge and no reservation we pulled in and introduced ourselves and were ready for anything. 
We were immediately received with a heartfelt welcome and told that dinner was not a problem at all!, though they were first serving at 8:30 (it was a quarter past 7). Not a problem!, we were shown to a table on the terrace where we were provided with beverages and wonderful company of the four-legged kind ;-)
As the meal drew closer, a few other couples came, as well. We enjoyed several hours of wonderful food, atmosphere while in the company of familiar strangers!! Every detail is considered and accounted for in order for guests to feel welcomed and at home. Top rating for an excellent home away from home!
