Villaggio Turchese

We stayed in a two bedroom unit with our three young children for 7 nights at the beginning of July. The apartment was so clean and perfectly situated within walking distance to all of the restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, pastry shop, bread bakery, ice cream shop- really anything one would need for the most accommodating vacation. There are two stunning beaches that are within walking distance- Porto Istana and Marina Maria. We preferred Marina Maria because it was less crowded and we found it more relaxing. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas at both and both have a place to purchase beverages and sandwiches for lunch. Ulderico and the staff at Turchese are so incredibly hospitable and really go the extra mile to help when needed. The pool is also so beautiful and really such an added bonus after a long day at the beach when perhaps the children still have a bit more energy to burn. We did not rent a car but we would definitely rent one next time so that we can do day trips to some of the other beautiful parts of Olbia. We would highly recommend Villaggio Turchese to anyone considering including it as part of their Sardinian vacation!
