Bed And Breakfast Majore

My partner and I spent three nights in Nuoro for work and booked a room here, which turned out to be an excellent choice. First of all, the location was excellent, right off Nuoro's main street but in a tiny little square, which makes it pleasantly quiet even if is in the heart of the city. Our "room" was rather a flat spread over three different floors - on the ground floor there was the bathroom and a breakfast area (there is also a small fridge, which was very convenient); on the mezzanine level there is a single bed and on the top floor there is the proper bedroom. The flat was tastefully decorated and there were also a few books available for consultation - both guide books about Nuoro and the area and a fantastic encyclopaedia about Sardinian traditional costumes, which became my favourite read. Breakfast is served on the ground floor and it is sumptuous to say the least. Grazia, the owner, was an excellent host - she really knows how to take care of her guests and we felt pampered throughout our entire stay. I will surely book there on my next trip to Nuoro in the spring. Please note this B&B only has two rooms so it's better to book early to avoid disappointment, especially in peak season.
