Tiers was a strategic choice for us as a jump off point for hut to hut hiking. We needed a restful place for our first night off the plane. We could not have chosen a better hotel. Mathilde and Georg run a great hotel. Super food as part of the half board. We seldom take advantage of half board but we are so happy with the food at Stefaner. From my observation, there are more up scale hotels in Tiers and some that are much simpler than Stefaner. Mathilde and Georg are right in the sweet spot and it seems to show in the cleintele. Many repeat guests. Tiers and Hotel Stefaner are both gems!
