I slept there one night to use a smartbox. It was a nightmare, the room smelled of moisture and foul environments, dirty floors, spiders, soap and foam left by some other unfortunate guest. No heating, the outside handle of the gateway, the hot water a wire, a blankets of doubtful cleaning. Sick and incompetent staff.

They gave me a smartbox package for one night, which I extended for another night. The second night, of course, was expensive, the room was one double tiny, and it was overly dark, maybe that's why I didn't see the problems right away.

To get to the B&B Nero there are no signs on the door, no one knew it and to get in you have to go get the keys from a The Flag Sisters pizzeria.The B&B is simple, maybe too simple, the room smelled of mold but, fortunately, it was clean, even though in the bathroom, besides the torn towels, you find the open soap bottle full of dust.

The room had everything we needed...even though the dirty sheets are not a good thing...like a washed towel and a bucket of soap already open (I actually took it with me to avoid repeating it). the staff was very available. breakfast was included...because we couldn't do it since the bar where we were supposed to make it opened at 9:15 when we had already made breakfast. if you are a little pretentious but interested in the location then this is the right place for you to avoid otherwise.

The position is your strong point.

The B&B is simple but very clean and located in a strategic area from which you can reach the main places of interest. The other peculiarity is that the B&B is built incorporating the walls of the ancient Greco-Roman theater, in fact a bathroom wall is actually the original wall of the theater...so it's like living in a historical monument, which doesn't happen every day.

Good price and quality ratio

No heat or hot water in room. Very musty smell. You check in at a pizzeria, pay at a second location and they take to  the b&b. You have to have key to unlock your room and the  front door.  They didnt mention you also had to press a buzzer on a wall several feet from the door to get out of the building. We were locked in the building with no one to call for help.  Fortunately, a tenant in the building came in and showed us how to get out.  You are suppose to get a voucher for breakfast at yet another location, but no one connected with the b&b had the voucher.  We got so fed up with the "run around" that we left.  We were thankful to be away from the place.

Avoid

I visited Naples a few days ago with my mother and arrived at the address of b&b nerone but had trouble finding it; there was no response when I called the telephone number, it rang and rang with no answer phone. Locals began to approach us in an unsafe area and a lady claimed it was her b&b but she said there were no bookings under our name even though I have evidence of booking with hotels.com. She said she could find a room for us but we felt unsafe to go with her, especially as she had no record of us and there was no answer on the telephone. We decided to take a cab back to the train station to find somewhere to stay for the night at such short notice and at great expense. This experience was truly awful and hotels.com needs to ensure checks are made on all hotels that can be booked through its site.
