A well-located B&B off Spaccanapoli, rooms clean and well-maintained. No lift to first floor, so perhaps not ideal for those with mobility problems. Also the access road down Via San Giovanni Maggiore is not well maintained. A major concern is the lack of baggage storage, even though it is specifically mentioned on the Booking.com site. Fernanda said that my room was booked for the following day and therefore couldn't accommodate my luggage. I had to take my bags to the railway station for storage in order to keep an appointment. This added more than €20 to the tariff. The key would not work in the front door lock; I knocked/rang (10:30pm) doorbell for about 20 minutes, but no response. Only when other guests arrived did I gain entrance. Guests make their own coffee in the kitchen, which was clean and had coffee tea on hand. Also there was an excellent home made cake in the dining room, a generous touch. Although none of the rooms were en-suite, the bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. There does not appear to be a member of staff available on-site, although two mobile phone numbers are supplied. 
I don't usually complain about accommodation. Le Isole Del Golfo is very good value for the price, but let down by the lack of attention to customer service. In all the years I have visited Naples and stayed in many of its hotels, I have never before been refused baggage storage facilities.

A well maintained B&B let down by poor customer service

A really nice and neat B&B in the details such as the choice of the names of the islands in the rooms, the choice of colors, apart from this, very clean, there is the choice to also choose the bathroom in the room, as if I were in the hotel I found the used slippers and disposable and even the wash covers.. to make the details understand.

I 'd recommend it.

Friendly, well located, in the heart of Naples.  Adjacent to piazza del gesu. Close to Dante underground, which is the "linea 2". You really feel like home. Great night life around the area. I would be back there with no hesitation.

The Gulf Islands offers a comfortable and strategic accommodation near the famous Spaccanapoli. The environment is clean and special. The feeling is to be a guest of a relative in Naples, you can have breakfast whenever you want and freedom is maximum. The only drawback could be the presence of only two bathrooms for four rooms. Recommended

It's convenient.

Reserved the Isole del Golfo at the last minute as there were no rooms at the nearby Decumani hotel my friends were at.  
Located in the heart of the historic center in a once gorgeous house, the property is impeccably kept with all of the necessities present (please note that bathrooms are shared).  I had the single room, which was spacious and quiet, my only complaint would be that the mattress was squeaky, but that didn't keep me from having a decent sleep.
Fernanda was very helpful and patient with me with my late arrival and my issues with the gate (which is a bit tricky if you don't test it).
I would highly recommend and would stay again.

Great find

I stayed in this BeB with friends. Simple and clean environment, unfortunately it is not well specified that out of a total of five rooms there are only two bathrooms. To get to the bathroom you have to go through the breakfast area.

I stayed at this b&b for three nights with my boyfriend, who says....everything is really fantastic! It is a large apartment that comprises a total of 4 bedrooms of different widths, located on the first floor of an ancient palace characteristic of the historic center of Naples, just a few steps from the metro and the real historic center with all its beauties, ideal for tourists who move on foot. The furnishings are all new and also kept in the smallest detail: each room has its own color and a name depending on the island of Naples, I was in the room Capri of blue color. In addition, I had the opportunity to note that the particular table for the breakfast (which would be very abundant and satisfying) was furnished with comfortable dishes that required the color of the bathroom and shower space and also a very pleasantly pleasing guest room in Naples.

A spectacular stay

I came to this small bed and breakfast located in the center of Naples for a couple of nights in the company of two colleagues from the university. We booked a double room and a single room with breakfast. The rooms were very detailed and very clean, the bathrooms as well. The lady who welcomed us explained how to get around (the metro is 5 minutes away and the university can be reached on foot) and recommended several pizzeria in the vicinity, such as sorbillo, where we went to dinner one evening. I recommend especially to those who want to visit the city without necessarily taking public transport, excellent quality-price ratio, we will definitely return.
