Let down by original booking and obliged to take this one blind. Alijah, the site manager sorted out a 2 bed bungalow for us, with modern bathroom, living/dining room and a well equipped kitchen (apart from the lack of an electric kettle which we subsequently found to be typical of apartments.) Alijah saved the day by bringing a spare-(at least I hope it was) kettle from her own house. The units were arranged in a large U shape, looking down towards the outdoor pools and dining area, with linking footpaths and wonderful open views. Although you appeared to be miles from civilization, the trip into Montepulciano only took about 15 minutes by car. The whole experience greatly enhanced by Alijah and Lucky, who did everything possible to make our stay memorable.
