365 reviewsWe stayed here two years ago and thought we struck gold, but just returned from another week of skiing and found the Stella Alpina better than ever. The directress Carla and her brother Mauro greeted us like old friends, and as before, went out of their way to insure we had everything we needed. The half-board plan can't be beat. Last time we thought the food was exceptional and generous, but agreed this time that it was even better. The hotel attracts a nice mixed group of Europeans, some with family. Carla is the Impresaria who introduces guests to each other and keeps them entertained with Welcome drinks, local cheese and salami tastings, and Friday night entertainment by a wonderful singer, Andrea. The restaurant staff, Cristina and Valentina, are exceptionally efficient and friendly, as are the cleaning staff. The entire hotel is spotless... even the ski-room! I hope to make the Stella Alpina my home-away-from-home for years to come. PS English is not their best language, but non-Italian speakers can manage.
