Scalilla Palace

As soon as we walked up the stairs, we knew that this stay was going to be awesome. Despite the late arrival, Marina waited for us with a smile and ready to show us her 'palace'. After being amazed at the beauty and cleanliness of everything, she showed us our room and give us to freshen up for dinner. After that we checked our assigned restroom and balcony of the house while we got a few flyers of local restaurants that have classic Sicilian dishes and pizza's (offcourse). She also has connections and knowledge of possible tours that may be interesting during your stay. She showed us where the breakfast area will be and asked us if we have any allergies or priviledges with breakfast (very caring and attentive). The next day she was kind enough to postpone the breakfast an hr later due to the lateness of our flight. She was also very nice to do breakfast at 0530 for when we had to travel to another city with the bus!! Breakfast was a tipical sweet italian one, and everyday something different, fresh from the bakery. Towels and bedsheets smelled fresh and new and halfway they were changed to fresh ones. Toilet and douche were neat and clean with beautiful ceramic designs. To make a long story short, This B&B is really defined by the name 'Scalilla Palace'. It certainly is a palace of Scalilla, the inside for sure. I dont know how else to express the satisfaction we felt that we chose a good B&B and seconds away from the main shopping street of Marsala (Via Roma) and restaurants on the other side. Look no further if you want to enjoy a stay in beautiful Marsala, Sicily. Marina will be expecting you with open arms!! Ciao
