La Maison

liked this hotel. the check in time is late 4 pm at the bar across the street. the room was nice, modern, clean and comfortable. the location was right on the main strip. breakfast was served at their bar across the street. would have liked to pay there in local currency, but not possible. no parking had to find a spot on the street which was ok. didn't like the prices for water and a few snacks in the room and the cost sign to do through cleaning - i'm assuming sheets before 3 days of 10 euros. already paid so don't want to see extras posted because don't like cheap money grab tactics, rather not have it at all would be better. wanted my towels changed daily, at first owner was surprised saying only if soiled since it is a b&b. for me towels need to be changed daily. she did so that was ok. no elevator and steep stairs to climb - just to know. I liked this town and good hotel - just a little to expensive compared to other placed stayed in Puglia.
