Because of a change to our travel arrangements, we required one night extra accomodation. We were so happy to have chosen La Rocca Del Garda. Alessandra gave us such a warm welcome and during our one night stay could not have been more helpful and kind. We had a lovely en-suite room with huge sliding doors on to a beautiful open patio area with views over Desenzano to Lake Garda. The place is so beautiful on top of a hill next to a castle. Breakfast was served in a nice communal area and although sparce was sufficient. Due to the Mille Miglia road race we were unable to return by car to La Rocca. however Alessandra came to our resue and arranged for her boyfriend to get us back.. nothing was too much. Using satellite navigation we had no problem finding La Rocca but could see difficulty without it. Overall superb. TIP: When you reach the security gates, press all the buttons which ring in different parts of the house.
