Albergo Eden

This August, we were at Albergo Eden in Villa Dalegno, a very beautiful small town above Ponte de Legno in the astonishingly impressive South Alps 200 km North-east from Milano. Ideal place to start longer and shorter walks / hikings in the magnificient mountains in the neighbourhood. In te beginning you cross different forrests, before you reach a lot of open spaces with great panoramic views. Once you come back in the hotel you are all treated as kings and queens and princes. After a yummy apero at the panoramic terrace, you are expected in the dining room where we were very pleased with the full board (vol pension). In the mornings at the extensive breakfast, you receive a list, where it really is difficult to choose 1 out of 3 primmi piatti, 1 out of 3 secundi platti and 1 of the 3 contorni. When afterwards, the freshly made (and biological) food is brought to your table, the healthy meals even look and taste better than man could expect. In our company was one person with vegeterian / vegan desires and the kitchen adapted the menus fully : from the breakfast, until the evening dinner. The family and the people who work with them are very kind and they do their best to make your holiday as pleasant as possible. On top the rooms and the whole of the hotel are very clean. Outside, their is not only a terrace with a great 180° panoramic view. Behind the hotel, there is a "Liegewiese where you can lay or sit in the sun. While enjoying the lovely Alp sun, you enjoy the look of the bio-vegetables-garden. No pesticides, nor insecticides are used in order to create as healthy and deliciously dishes as possible.
