From the moment we arrived Betty could not have been nicer or more helpful! She made us feel like we were part of the family and that nothing was too much trouble. The room (including the bathroom) was lovely and clean (and warm!) and it was amazing to hear the cow bells in the morning. The food in the restaurant was outstanding - the pasta, the meat, the antipasti, however their polenta is by far the best I have ever eaten!! Also the locally made Merlot is out of this world! Whilst we never had the chance to check out the hiking trails this time - there are quite a number in the area, so if this is your thing you will seriously love it here! I really can't adequately put into words how much we loved staying here - we were already making plans for our next trip before we had even checked out! Betty you are amazing xx
