67 reviewsSteps from the Sensole ferry stop on Monte Isola (and away from the bulk of the tourists), this simple boutique hotel (with two restaurants) is clean and dog friendly with a young, hardworking staff and a bit of a hipster vibe. All is as pictured on their website. The breakfast here is delicious and done in a special way. They also do a great aperitivo and pizza. Giovanni, the owner, helped us figure out where to get where we wanted to go each day of our visit. FYI: There is no lift and many flights of stairs to climb if you have a deluxe lake view room like we did or want to enjoy the rooftop terrace depicted on their website (with tables and beautiful panoramic views). If you’re low maintenance and looking for a laid back hotel in a quaint village this is a fun spot to consider. We would happily return.
