22 reviewsI recently stayed at Villa Cuiano for with a group of seven women on an artist retreat. Around every corner of the property there were wonderful scenes to paint: old rose bushes climbing up stairs on a stone building, red tiled roofs out a window, the valley far below, poppies, olive trees, sheep etc. At night we slept in the fresh hillside air, with birds singing and frogs croaking but absolutely no traffic noise. My room was large and airy, with windows on two sides and an adjoining bath. The furniture was basic but comfortable in the bedrooms, and more elaborate in other rooms. No one in our group had thoughts about trying out the TV. Internet was sketchy in most rooms, but two rooms and an outdoor area had good connections. We ate most meals at the Villa, and they were delicious. Our host Franco and his wife pulled out all the stops with delicious meals.
