18 reviewsWe were a little worried (two girls travelling alone) at first because the streets we saw in Google Streetview weren't pretty, but in the end we enjoyed a very nice stay at Le Charme House 2. The blocks around the B&B are very quiet at night (you see groups of people, but somehow they aren't noisy), and are full of restaurants (mostly Indian food, yum!), bars and convenience stores where a bottle of water costs 0.50€ and not the exorbitant prices usually charged to tourists. As for the B&B, it's located in the fifth floor of a residential building. They contacted me in advance to ask about my arrival time, and someone from the staff showed up within the timeframe I gave them to open the door for us. However, I'd recommend having a phone with roaming enabled in case you arrive ahead of time. It happened to us and we had no way to contact the staff, so we had to wait by the door for a while. After that they give you a set of keys, and you're free to enter and leave as you please. There's hot water with decent pressure, and the wifi speed is a bliss. Strong and fast connection. The place is very quiet, but sometimes you can hear other guests arriving at night. If you want to be close to Roma Termini, within walking distance of the Colosseum, and surrounded by shops that don't sell overpriced items, this location is perfect.
