161 reviewsYou feel like you are staying in a beautiful, old country home, with a vine-covered terrace at the entrance, friendly staff, lovely decor in the halls, clean and comfortable rooms and a generous Continental breakfast. Yes, it is not a hot English breakfast banquet, to counter negative reviews, but this is Italy not England. If you are wanting the generic 'luxury' of major chain hotels, go stay somewhere boring; our room was spacious and had everything we needed. One negative reviewer said they could not fit in the shower - I reckon could fit three of me in the shower. Good wifi, so my husband could work. A pleasant 15-20 minute walk to the train station (so a synch to get to Cinque Terre) and town centre with restaurants and the harbour, botanic gardens etc. Highly recommended
