My husband, 12 year old son, and I spent a night here on a recent trip in Italy - it was amazing - I wish I'd had the foresight to plan a few more nights! Scenery was amazing, hotel was comfortable and clean, the host was so very helpful - and there were so many hikes we wish we could have done had we had the time. The only drawback is that the village has - from my understanding - only one restaurant, and no grocery store (we were there on Easter Sunday, though, so that may not be entirely correct). The restaurant was excellent as well, but we like to be able to purchase groceries and make our own snacks/sandwiches/meals. Not that big of a deal in that there are larger towns with amenities fairly close by - but the drive up to Filetto was a little daunting in our small rental car, and we just wanted to park and walk :)
