Agriturismo Casa Cresta

We went to Casa Cresta in July 2014. We searched a long time on the internet for a propriate accomodation. After reading some reviews about Casa Cresta, we decided to contact them for some further information. The first contats with Giuseppina and the family by e-mail were already very nice. After a long trip we arrived in Gubbio and after following a small road (strada bianchi) we were very surprised by the location of the casa, it was fabulous. A little bit isolated, but not that it was a problem. The nearest by town (Gubbio) with shops, you can reach in 15 minutes by car. You can totally de-stress in the hills of Gubbio. As we arrived, the family was waiting for us, very friendly and nice people. You cas see that it's a family-business, the whole family is helping at the Casa, everyone at their own way. Every day Giuseppina comes by to ask if you need bread the morning after, so as you wake up, you find your order in front of the door with some suprises (wine, eggs, vegetables all from their own farm). Since the casa is a little bit isolated, it's a great service, so you don't have to go to town in the morning. The appartments are very well equiped, clean, nice, there is nothing to comment. If you need something, you can also always ask Giuseppina. They are very helpfull. The fact that there are only 4 appartments, makes that it is very quiet. For the kids it was also very nice, they can walk around free since the casa is located on a large domain in the hills. Every week, the family organises a pizza-evening. The whole family is present than and it is a great evening. We have very nice and warm memories of it. They bake pizza, serve home made pasta, home made wine,..... It's really nice, you feel the passion of the whole family for their Casa and the guests. We also visited some nice towns like Gubbio (of course), Perugio, Montefalco, Assisi, and went also to the coast. With pain in the heart we left this place and we will hopefully some day return.
