We spent 2 weeks in August in Serratone Agriturismo. The place is near Grossetto, around 6 km from the main road in the middle of typical tuscan countryside. In driving to and from we have often seen roe deers playing in the fields, foxes and more. The place is simple but authentic, with 4 small apartments built in the old barn with solar panel for DHW. The swimming pool oversees the hills around. It is possible to have lunch and dinner with very traditional home made pasta, venison and much more - it was great. The closest beaches (Principina a Mare) are around 45 minutes away. We alternated sea with sightseeing trips (Saturnia, Montalcino, Pienza, Scansano, Orbetello, Monte Amiata). The best part is the family,Tiziana, the grand parents and the children they all do their best to make you feeling at home. My daughter is still talking about Michele and Rachele.
