We stayed for two nights while we explored Genoa. Valentina now runs Il Salotto di Lucilla and we couldnt praise her enough as a host. Great communication, helpful in so many ways (meeting us to guide us to the front door, advice about where to go, recommendation (and booking the table which was essential) for the best pizza which is two minutes away, booking us a taxi for a very early departure). We had a room with a double and single bed which was comfortable and had a very nice bathroom. There is a lovely common area to sit and to make tea and coffee. The centre of Genoa is a short walk away so it is a perfect base for this fascinating city (be aware Genoa has lots of steps and Il Salotto di Lucilla is at the top of a long flight but is also reached by a residents lift from street level).
