Agriturismo Cuor Di Lupo

I read the reviews about Cuor di Lupo when I had already booked there for the first part of my holidays, in September, and today I registered here to give my personal opinion, which is very positive;by reading reviews on TA and looking at the website, (well done and updated) i had already made a personal impression on Cuor di Lupo, whether good or bad: for example, I was ready to take on an access road virtually impassable ... but, at the end, it did not seem so bad(even if it was actually dirt, as the website, honestly, explains)As soon as we arrived, however, both me and my friend forgot the roughness of the road access: the farm is really wonderful, a real old stone farmhouse, renovated with taste and semplicity, nestled in a magnificent landscape. At the entrance we met a couple of people not so talkative, but the owner, Giulio, whom we met the following day, is a very kind person, extremely helpful, pleasant and cheerful. From "Cuor di Lupo" we have easily scheduled tours to many medieval towns, little and big jewels set into the rock, like Massa Marittima, Sassofortino, Roccatederighi (I recommend to visit "the masses", on top of cliffs overlooking the old town of Roccatederighi, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view over the valley to almost 360 degrees!). And, coming back after dinner in local restaurants, always different and typical of the Maremma, the warmth and the relax in our room was assured, in the absolute quietness of the farmhouse. We left to go on with our journey, but very reluctantly. Cuor di Lupo is a beautiful place, definitely to be recommended: i really left there a little piece of my heart...
