140 reviewsWe returned for our first post-pandemic visit to Villa Giulia, and we were delighted to find it better than ever. The same stunning location, and friendly, attentive staff. But it was the food that wowed us this trip. The previous Michelin starred chef has gone, and his former sous chef (Denys Paschenko) has stepped up, and really raised the bar. The food was inventive, stunningly presented and delicious. We especially enjoyed the rabbit fagotelli with langoustine, mushroom and green peas, the squid with lamb sweetbreads and cashew nuts, and the ox tongue with tuna salsa verde and polenta. For sure the Michelin star will be reinstated soon, and deservedly so. Bravo Villa Giulia.
