This was our first trip to Forte dei Marmi and we chose A Due Passi based on reviews. We were not disappointed. It is a quaint, clean, establishment with comfortable rooms. Our room had a small kitchenette that is available for use for an additional fee, and a washing machine. The room was cleaned daily. The shower was small (the only drawback if you are a larger individual) but the water pressure was fantastic. Elisabetta and her parents, our hosts, were welcoming, kind, and accommodating. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with italian meats, pancakes, home-baked pastries, assorted juices, and fruit. Elisabetta made our lattes to order. Forte dei Marmi is a walkable town, and A Due Passi is a very short walk to the beach. Bikes are also available to rent for a small fee on a daily basis. There were several families there with us at the inn, which clearly was welcoming to children as well as couples like ourselves. There was also ample street parking. If I return to Forte Dei Marmi, I won't hesitate to return to A Due Passi.
