We spent two weeks in the Hotel Colella Terme. We had just decided to go away for a family holiday as the weather in the UK had not been great and wanted to get some some sun and decided on Ischia very last minute. We were a bit worried as we just booked quickly and were on a budget and there are only 2 reviews in English of this hotel and one was not good on Trip advisor. We were very that happy that we chose this hotel. The hotel is particularly popular with Italians from Naples and a few Germans were also staying there but we were the only British staying at the time we visited. The staff are very friendly and polite even though some of them did not speak great English. Even with language barrier we felt very comfortable and included in all the activities the hotel provided. The hotel has a good family atmosphere and charm and we had a real authentic Italian holiday experience. The food was of a good quality and the breakfast was OK. The rooms were also of a good standard but they don’t have air-conditioning. We were fine with the fan supplied in room. We would definitely go back and stay there again.
