When a restaurant is severely deserving, I cannot help but to write a review. The road leading to this restaurant and the grounds around this restaurant can be slightly discouraging, due to the long, windy road and the untidiness of the area. Please ignore this and go inside this rustic farmhouse and experience the extremely delicious food and warm and genuine seRvice. Every seat on the ground floor was filled (as there is also a mezzanine floor) . Probably around 80 people and not a tourist in site, only locals, exactly the wsy I like it, authentic rather than touristy. Rustic, cosy and comfortable. We could have sat there for hours. The tagliatelle al ragu(delicious) the tortellini in brodo,(delicious), the tortelloni al burro e salvia , Oh My God, the tortelloni al burro e salvia were mouthwateringly and unforgettably delicious. Our steak alla fiorentina was served boneless and was very tasty. The baskets of, hot from the oven, small tigelle ( flat bread pancakes) were just so good that I looked up the recipe as soon as we left the restaurant. The zuppa inglese was very moist and creamy. We could have eaten there everyday. The price was so reasonable. Please visit this restaurant if you are looking for authentic, traditional emiliana cuisine, that is non touristy and extremely delicious, served by kind, very friendly and helpful staff in a rustic rural environment at low prices. A lovely and sweet young man served us. He speaks good english.
