Orto De Medici Hotel

My stay at Orto de’ Medici Hotel was absolutely exceptional! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. A huge shoutout to Judith and Ann, who were incredible – fast, responsive over email, and so supportive throughout my stay. They made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, which made all the difference. The location is unbeatable – just a short walk to all the main attractions of Florence, yet tucked away enough to feel calm and cozy. Breakfast was delicious, the air conditioning worked perfectly (a blessing during a hot Florence summer!), and I absolutely loved the complimentary ice creams at the counter – such a thoughtful touch! As a big fan of the Medici family’s history, staying here was a dream come true. The hotel stands on historic grounds where Lorenzo de’ Medici once had gardens, and a young Michelangelo studied and honed his craft. Knowing that Michelangelo walked these very grounds added a layer of magic to my experience. If I ever come back to Florence – and I absolutely will – this will be my first choice again. Highly recommended, 1000 thumbs up! Bravo to the entire team for a job well done.
