Il Gelsomino

we went to Favignana for 4 days in July and spent the first 2 nights here. the apartments are quiet, modern, new and very clean. You find all the basic things you need from a self-catering apartment, and even had 2 acs (1 in living room and 1 in bedroom). You also get free wi-fi, plus a number of discounts from bike rental, restaurant and a lido (also including free wi-fi there because we stayed at il gelsomino)! The place is literally 2 minutes by walk from the centre but even so the area is very quiet and you don't hear the busy life from the centre.The owners are very nice and helpful and speak good english. When we booked we made a mistake and booked forJune instead. Even if they ended up with an apartment not rented for 3 whole nights because of this, they were very understanding, moved our reservation to the right dates, did not charge us anything for the previous 3 nights and since during the period we were really going they had only 2 nights available, they went to the trouble of finding us a suitable place to stay for the other night even if practically everywhere in Favignana was fully booked. There is nothing negative to say about this place, its perfect and rates are very reasonable. If you still want to be choosy and find something negative than I can think of only 1 thing, that the place is next to a prison but from the look of it it was empty as it was always very quiet. As a conclusion this is really a place you should consider when visiting this nice little island you will not be disappointed.
